Sweat Cosmetics: Don’t Sweat it Off
After a long day of work, many of us like to hit the gym or get some outdoor cardio in to stay fit and healthy. But for anybody who wears makeup, it can be time-consuming to wash it off before working out. Some of us forget to even take it off and by the time we start to sweat, our makeup beings to run and slide. However, this has lead to a cosmetics brand that is made to last through almost any exercise routine, Sweat Cosmetics.
How It Started:
While some makeup companies have created waterproof cosmetics, the creators of Sweat Cosmetics wanted to approach the sweat problem directly. The founding team is made of several female professional athletes such as soccer star Leslie Osborne and Olympic medalist Lindsay Tarpley. They came up with the idea since they could not find makeup that was suitable for active women. As a result, Sweat Cosmetics launched with a collection of sweat proof face powder products.
What we truly love about Sweat is that while it’s great for active women, it’s great for skin too. All of their makeup is formulated with special ingredients to keep skin healthy. These include vitamin E and milk thistle which are rich in antioxidants. In addition, all Sweat Cosmetics products are cruelty-free and provide SPF protection. This is great for people who have sensitive skin. With this line of cosmetics, Sweat created an opportunity for new cosmetics that can fit almost anyone’s lifestyle.
